We were excited to attend the Haunted Lake event in Remerschen, drawn by the promise of an immersive Halloween experience with spooky decorations, music, lighting effects, and an eerie atmosphere for all ages. Unfortunately, our visit left us a bit disappointed.
Although the start time was advertised as 4:00 PM, by 4:30 PM there was still no music or lighting to set the mood. While some decorations were well crafted, the overall setup felt too simple for an event that was meant to be an engaging Halloween experience. We had expected a stronger, more immersive atmosphere upon arrival.
After about 20 minutes, we decided to head to Bertrange instead, feeling a bit let down by our first experience at Haunted Lake. We understand that events may need adjustments in the early stages, but we hope that future editions will improve to deliver a fully immersive and memorable experience for visitors.
